Humayun’s Tomb is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture. Built in the 16th century by Haji Begum, it inspired later Mughal monuments including the Taj Mahal with its symmetrical garden layout and elegant red sandstone design.

Tickets for Indians cost ₹35 and the monument is open all days. You can book tickets online through the official ASI portal https://asi.payumoney.com or scan the QR code at the entrance.

Inside the complex you will find Isa Khan’s Tomb and Mosque which predate the main structure and show early architectural styles. The Afsarwala Tomb and Mosque are also part of the site offering a quieter historic corner to explore. The Museum dedicated to restoration work and artefacts is open on all days except Monday and requires a separate ticket available at the museum counter.
